Operator Connect Account Setup
This lesson walks through the Operator Connect account setup in Microsoft Teams. You will learn how to link your carrier in the Teams Admin Center, assign phone numbers to users, configure emergency locations, and verify that PSTN calling is active and working correctly.
Welcome! Let’s walk through the steps to create your Operator Connect account with Iristel.
To begin, you'll need two essential things:
- An active Microsoft Office 365 tenant
- Microsoft Teams administrator privileges
These are required to proceed with the setup.
Once you're ready, start by adding Iristel Operator Connect as your operator. Here's how:
- Go to the Microsoft Teams Admin Center
- In the left-hand menu, select Operator Connect
- Use the filter to view available operators
- From the list, select Iristel
After selecting Iristel, you'll be redirected to a personalized customer portal with limited access to manage your account.
Next, log in using your Microsoft Teams account. You’ll be prompted to:
- Complete email verification
- Grant consent for Operator Connect to interact with your Microsoft Teams data
Once that’s done, click Save to complete the setup. After saving, Iristel will be notified and will activate your account.
