Welcome to the Phone Number Dipping Service Tutorial
In this video, I’ll demonstrate how to invite someone to use the phone number dipping service and guide you through the process of setting up and using the service.
- Inviting New Users:
- First, I'll log into an account with permissions to invite others.
- Only accounts with invitation permissions can send out invites. You can view, resend, or revoke invitations from this section.
- Sending an Invitation:
- I’ll invite a new user to the phone number dipping service. The invited customer will receive an email with a link directing them to the checkout screen.
- Checkout Process:
- The customer will enter their address as they would on any other checkout page.
- Due to the corporate variable in the URL, only corporate products like phone number dipping will be displayed. Other products like Mobify or home services will not be visible.
- The user will select the plan, which includes a 14-day free trial followed by an annual charge of $9.99.
- The details about phone number dipping are fully customizable, and users can review their plan in the shopping cart. They can delete or change the plan as needed. The billing summary will show a total of $0 for the trial period.
- Proceeding with Checkout:
- To complete the signup, the user must use the email address they were invited with. If a different email is used, they will receive an error message.
- A verification code will be sent to their email for verification. After entering the correct code, they will agree to the terms of service and enter credit card information. For this demo, we’re using a test Visa card.
- Completing the Order:
- Once the payment is processed successfully and the account is provisioned, the user will see a thank you message and receive a confirmation email. This email includes billing and service details, account number, service ID, annual commitment, and payment information. The email can be customized to direct users to the portal.
- Accessing the Service:
- The user will log into Iristel by visiting iristell.com and clicking on "Login" or "My Iristel." They should log in with the new account they created.
- Account Overview:
- Upon logging in, they will see their account balance, the credit card on file, and options for automatic payments. The service subscribed to, phone number dipping at $9.99/year, will be listed.
- Under "Billing and Payments," they can download the first invoice showing a payment of $9.99 plus tax, with a total due of $0 for the trial period.
- Using Phone Number Dipping:
- In the "Services" section, select phone number dipping. Enter a phone number to look up its details. Each dip costs $1 plus tax, and the account balance will reflect each dip.
- The next invoice will include the total amount due based on the number of dips performed. Each dip will be listed with the date and phone number inquired about.
