SMS in Webex using Iristel SMS

Hello and welcome to our tutorial on how to create and configure a new space in WebEx for SMS functionality using the Iristel SMS service. Whether for business communications or personal use, this feature is incredibly useful. Let's get started!

First, we need to create a new space in WebEx. To do this, navigate to your WebEx app or website and look for the option to create a new space. Once you click on "Create Space," you'll be prompted to give your new space a title. This is a crucial step: in the space title, enter the destination phone number in E.164 format. Your title should look something like "1416804747." This format ensures that the SMS functionality is properly directed.

Next, within the created space, it's time to add users. Specifically, you need to add `text_message@iristel.com`. This step is essential for enabling the SMS functionality. Please note, there might be a specific name associated with this user, but it's the email address that's crucial for ensuring SMS messages are directed to the correct service.

Now you're all set to send SMS messages. Simply type your message in the message input field and hit send. Just like that, you've successfully set up a space in WebEx and configured it to send SMS messages using the iRAL SMS service. Congratulations! You're now ready to utilize this powerful communication tool within WebEx.

Thank you for following along with our tutorial. If you have any questions or need further assistance, feel free to reach out or consult the WebEx support resources.
